Tips: Why is there no continuity sound during a continuity test?
If you don’t hear a sound during a continuity test, it could be because the circuit has too much resistance or the test leads are not properly connected. Ensure that the circuit is closed and has minimal resistance, as high resistance can prevent the continuity sound from being triggered. Also, check that the test leads are securely connected to both the meter and the circuit. If the leads are worn or damaged, replace them with new ones. If the continuity function still doesn’t work, the meter might need to be tested or serviced.
