Dog clippers and sheep clippers are all the electric hair clippers for cutting and trimming animals’ hair.
What is a Hair Clipper?
A hair clipper is a tool for trimming human hair. Its working principle is similar to scissors and razors, but the actual meaning is different. A hair clipper consists of a pair of sharp blades, shaped like a comb. The upper blade and the lower blade slide relative to each other up and down. Move the clipper to make the hair between the teeth of blade. At the same time, when one blade slides to the side relative to the other, a scissors action is generated to cut the hair.
Working principle of an electric hair clipper is similar to a manual one, the only difference is that it is driven by a motor. Battery operated hair clipper is called cordless clipper.
Sheep Clippers
Sheep clippers are hair cutter machines used to trim sheep, goats or animals with dense fur, also called sheep trimmers. Generally, sheep clippers are regarded as electric sheep shears.
Electric Sheep Clippers Working Principle
Electric sheep clippers have a motor inside, the gearbox adjusts the rotation speed of the motor. Through a special conversion mechanism, the rotation output by the gearbox is transformed into a left-right swinging action, then it is transmitted to the upper tooth blade pressing claws of the electric sheep clippers. The upper tooth blade of the electric sheep clippers is driven by the pressing claw and cooperates with the fixed comb tooth (also called the lower tooth blade) to perform a shearing motion, thereby cutting the wool.
Dog Clippers
Dog clippers are the tools used in cutting and trimming hair for pets, such as dog (puppy), cat (kitten), rabbit (bunny), etc. Dog clippers are commonly found in pet grooming kits. A professional dog/cat grooming kit usually includes electric clipper, shaver, claw trimmer (or cutter), nail cutter, toenail clipper, combs or more.
