Demolition hammer is another name for jack hammer (In some countries and regions, it also written as jackhammer), which is also called demolition breaker. • Where to start hammering is important to the effectiveness of demolition hammer. When working on the floor, start from the edge. If you start from the center or corner, as the debris gradually accumulates, it will cause problems in later operations. It would be better if the work could be done from the inside to the outside, because the debris will be closer to where it is needed and can be easily removed. When working on a wall, start as close as possible to the center of the wall and chisel down. The weight of the top load will cause the concrete to fall on its own.
• Placement of the demolition hammer tip directly affects hammering effect. If the demolition hammer lip is pointed straight down or pointed into the surface to be removed, it will cause the hammer to hit the same position continuously, which will only create a hole at that position. The trick is to tilt the drill bit of demolition hammer and point downward. In this way, the lip will chip into the material instead of passing through it.
