Tips: Why is the diode test not displaying the correct forward voltage?

If the diode test is not displaying the correct forward voltage, the diode may be faulty, or the meter may not be set to the correct mode. Double-check that the meter is in diode test mode. Also, verify the condition of the diode by testing it in a known good circuit. If the issue persists, the diode itself might be defective, or the meter’s diode testing feature might require recalibration or repair.
