Tips: The use of swivel base bench vise

Except fixed base bench vise, there is also swivel base bench vise. The structure of this swivel base bench vise is basically the same as that of a fixed base bench vise, including a movable jaw, a fixed jaw, a screw rod, a guide nut, a compression ring, a base and a cranking handle. The big difference between this two types of bench vices is the base which is fixed or swivel. The swivel base bench vise is fixed on the workbench to hold the work piece. After loosening the bolts with handles on both sides, the vise can be rotated to any angle required. And then the bolt is tightened to make the vice immobile. When the shape of the workpiece is irregular or the workpiece is not suitable for processing along the vertical vise table, use this swivel base bench vise is more convenient.
