Tips: What is a torx socket? The torx socket is specially used to remove the bolts with torx head. When disassembling, the torx socket can achieve surface contact with the bolt head. Torx socket adopts a curved structure that can increase the disassembly torque while reducing the volume. In modern vehicles, the use of torx head bolts has gradually increased. The torx sockets are often used to install door bolts, or stud bolts for intake manifolds.Put the automotive socket on the square tenon of the matching handle (use with extension rod, short rod or universal joint as required), then put the socket over the bolt or nut. Hold the joint between the handle and the socket with left hand and keep the socket coaxial with the bolt to be dismantled or tightened. Hold the matching handle with right hand to apply force. In the process of using the socket, hold the joint between the handle and the car socket with left hand, and do not shake it to prevent the socket from sliding out or damaging the sharp corners of the bolt and nut.Use force in your direction to prevent slippage and injury to your hands. When selecting the torx socket, the shape and size of the torx socket, bolt and nut must be completely suitable. If the selection is not correct, the socket may slip during use, which will damage the bolt and nut.
