To ensure accurate readings, calibrate your handheld HCN gas detector periodically using the manufacturer's recommended calibration gas. Check that the internal sampling pump is not clogged and ensure that the flow rate is maintained at 1 L/min. Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures outside the -20°C to 50°C operating temperature range.
