Details

Usage Instruction
- Long press the power on button for 2s to turn on the machine.
- Insert the mouthpiece into the reserved hole of the device.
- Click the power on button, enter the test interface, the screen shows ready to go
- The screen displays “please blow” and voice prompts, please align the blowing mouth, continuously blowing up 5s, start blowing there will be a vibration reminder, blowing full 5s after the vibration stops. If the blowing time is less than 5s or interrupted in the middle, the device will prompt the interruption of blowing and re-enter the blowing mode.
- After successful blowing, the device enters the data analysis state.
- After analyzing the data, the test results will be announced by voice and displayed on the screen.
Tips: The difference between electrochemical breathalyzers and semiconductor breathalyzers
- Different working principles
Electrochemical breathalyzers use fuel cell sensors, where alcohol reacts with chemicals inside the sensor to generate an electric current, measuring alcohol concentration. Semiconductor breathalyzers, on the other hand, rely on semiconductor sensors that change resistance when alcohol molecules come into contact with the sensor surface.
- Accuracy and reliability
Electrochemical breathalyzers offer higher accuracy and stability, making them suitable for professional use, such as law enforcement. Semiconductor breathalyzers are less precise and more susceptible to interference from temperature, humidity, or other gases, making them better for personal use.
- Lifespan
Electrochemical sensors have a longer lifespan, often lasting several years, but require regular calibration. Semiconductor sensors have a shorter lifespan and may degrade faster due to alcohol residue or environmental factors, needing more frequent replacement.
- Cost and price
Electrochemical breathalyzers are more expensive due to their complex technology and high precision. Semiconductor breathalyzers are simpler, cheaper, and more affordable for budget-conscious users.
- Application scenarios
Electrochemical breathalyzers are commonly used in professional settings like law enforcement, traffic safety checks, or corporate safety management. Semiconductor breathalyzers are better suited for personal use, such as self-testing by drivers or household purposes.
In summary, electrochemical breathalyzers are high-precision and reliable for professional use, while semiconductor breathalyzers are cost-effective and portable for personal use. Users can choose based on their specific needs.
