When your watch doesn’t work, it chances that the movement of the watch has been broken. Sometime there are no simple resolutions to repair the failure movement, therefore, you should replace the movement with some watch repair tools. First, you need to open the watch case back with a watch back removal tool, be careful there is a gasket between the case and back cover, if it is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Second, remove the movement. Place the watch face down on a cloth, or place the movement dial face down on a piece of wood. Turn the screw three to four times counterclockwise, or push the dimple while pulling to remove the stem. Remove the movement ring, hands and the dial. That is the important step to take out the movement from the case back. In addition, pull the movement ring, take out the movement with tweezers (don’t scratch any parts of the movement). Third, select a movement that is suitable for your watch and look for a moving ring that holds the movement in the case and prevents it from moving loosely. Close coordination can not only help the watch to work better, but also prevent the watch from being easily damaged. Finally, close the watch case back. Please make sure that the case back will not touch the movement ring and check whether the new movement has dust and moisture before you close the case back.
