It is important to choose the bottle jack of the appropriate capacity: The carrying capacity should not be overloaded, and the carrying capacity of the bottle jack should be greater than 1.2 times of the weight of the heavy object. For example, 12 ton bottle jack can lift the truck of maximum gross weight 10 ton. The minimum height of the bottle jack should be suitable. In order to facilitate removal, the minimum height of the bottle jack should be compatible with the clearance at the bottom of the heavy object. When the sleeper supports the heavy object during the lifting and falling process, the lifting height of the bottle jack should be greater than the sum of the thickness of the sleeper and the deformation of the sleeper.
If multiple bottle jacks are used to lift the same equipment, the same type of bottle jack should be selected, and the sum of the rated lifting weight of every bottle jack shall not be less than 1.5 times of the equipment weight.
The bottle jack should be placed horizontal before use, and the bottom should be leveled up to prevent the bottle jack from tilting or overturning due to the sinking of the foundation or the deviation of the load. Tough sleepers or steel plates can be placed on the bottom of the bottle jack to expand the bearing Pressure area to avoid accidents caused by sinking or sliding.
If the lifting height of the heavy object needs to exceed the rated height of the bottle jack, you need to put the sleepers under the heavy object lifted by the bottle jack, lower the bottle jack, raise the bottom, and repeat the lifting until the required lifting height.
Bottle jacks cannot be used as permanent supporting equipment. If long-term support is required, a support part should be added under the heavy object to ensure that the bottle jack is not damaged.
