Tips: The working principle of tire pressure gaugeInside the main tube of the tire pressure gauge, there is a well-sealed piston, which is very similar to the piston inside a bicycle pump. The inside of the tube is very smooth. The piston is made of soft rubber, so it is well sealed with the tube body, and the inside of the tube body is lubricated with light oil to enhance the sealing performance.Lay the tube of the tire pressure gauge horizontally with the air chuck facing to the left, and the piston is at the right end of the tube. A compression spring is used to connect the piston and the air chuck to push the piston to the left side of the tube. The air chuck on the left side of the tire pressure gauge is concave. The opening of the air chuck is used to engage with the valve of the tire. If looking into the opening, there are a rubber seal and a small fixed pin. The rubber sealing block is used to press the flange of the valve to prevent air leakage during the measurement. The fixed needle is used to depress the valve core in the valve to allow air to enter the tire pressure gauge. The air flows in around the fixed needle, passes through the concave part in the air chuck, and then enters the piston chamber. When the tire pressure gauge is pressed on the valve, the pressurized air in the tire will rush into the pressure gauge, pushing the piston to the right. Then the stroke of the piston corresponds to the pressure in the tire. If the tire pressure gauge is removed from the valve, the inflow of pressurized air stops. Press the vent valve at this time, and the spring will immediately push the piston back to the left until it reaches the original position. The tire pressure gauge will be reset to zero.
